this video is very unexciting. You could pick any 2 well respected economists to agree with any number of theories you wanted, plus go back 20 years in history with any governmnet to show where theyve made mistakes economically. This does not prove your point. Clearly i dont agree with what your saying but i also think you have better arguments to back up what your saying, you should discuss these rather than show these propaganda films aimed at fools.
I have to totally disagree with you there, this is the exact type of simplified reasoning which the general public will listen to, and understand. It would be the perfect presentation to show the public over here in Ireland, because we are undergoing the exact same scenario – Shock Doctrine via Austerity and possibly privatisation (Maggie-style)
We are beginning to realise that austerity is the very reason our bond yeilds are sooooo high, and why we therefore needed to bring in the IMF/EU… Austerity does not work, investment – as the video suggests – appears to be the best way.
Well done guys, we will add this to our video clips section>
P.S. we also got a great speech by Naomi Klein which you may be interested in>

Join the fight against the Tory/Lib Dem 'savage cuts' to our public services.
The new British Government is about to try to force through massive and un-needed cuts to our public services in an 'emergency budget'.
Britain has massive assets, long term debts, and very low taxes.
There is no need to destroy the public services it has taken 100 years to build up in this country, and on which the majority of us depend.
Join the fight, today.
